46th International Congress of S.I.Tri. Milan, May 23–26, 2024

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are delighted to share with you the success of the 46th Congress of the Italian Society of Trichology, held from May 23 to 25, 2024, in Milan—an international capital of fashion and design, as well as a major European financial and cultural hub.

The city provided the perfect backdrop for an event that blended tradition and innovation, just like Trichology itself: a discipline with deep roots, now projected into the future thanks to the latest technologies and new treatments.

Both Italian and international speakers presented the latest advances in therapeutic approaches, technological tools, and methods of drug administration with great expertise. The congress proved to be a valuable opportunity for discussion and professional development among leading figures in today’s scientific community.

Hair Restoration Surgery featured prominently in numerous sessions, culminating on May 26 with a Live Surgery on Hair Loss Surgery at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, organized in collaboration with ISHRS Europe. Special transplant techniques for challenging areas were discussed, along with advances in Regenerative Medicine, which is redefining the approach to many trichological conditions.

There was no shortage of convivial moments: the Gala Dinner at the Museum of Science and Technology offered a special occasion for meeting and networking. For sports enthusiasts, the Langhe Cycling Tour on May 18 combined passion and participation in a unique experience, symbolically taking the participants all the way to Milan… by bicycle!

We sincerely thank you for your presence and for helping make this Congress an event rich in content, enthusiasm, and collaboration. Together, we experienced an extraordinary full immersion in Trichology, united by the common goal of continuously developing and enhancing this discipline.
